How Corry Rubber Corporation collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information in connection with this site and our business.

Overview

Effective Date: May 7, 2026

Corry Rubber Corporation (“Corry Rubber,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in connection with our website at corryrubber.com (the “Site”) and our business operations.

This Policy applies to visitors to our Site, prospective customers, customers, suppliers, and other individuals who interact with us in a business context. It does not apply to our employees, job applicants, or contractors, whose information is governed by separate notices provided at the time of collection.

If you apply for a job through this Site, the application you submit is sent to Corry Rubber by email and retained with our hiring records. We ask only for information relevant to considering your application; we do not ask you to disclose race, ethnicity, gender, veteran status, or disability. A copy is also saved in your own browser so you can finish the form in more than one sitting — that copy stays on your device and you can clear it at any time.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

A. Information You Provide Directly

When you fill out a quote request, contact form, request a sample, subscribe to communications, or otherwise correspond with us, you may provide:

  • Name
  • Business email address
  • Business phone number
  • Company name and job title
  • Mailing or shipping address
  • Project, product, or technical specifications and related correspondence
  • Any other information you choose to provide in messages or attachments

B. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, our web servers and content delivery providers automatically log certain technical information, including:

  • IP address and approximate geographic location derived from it
  • Browser type, operating system, and device characteristics
  • Referring URL and the pages you view on our Site
  • Date, time, and duration of your visit
  • Cookies and similar technologies necessary for the Site to function (for example, session and security cookies set by our content delivery network)

We use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used — which pages are read, how visitors arrive, and which are of most interest. It records the technical information described above and sets its own cookies. IP addresses are truncated before storage, and we honour the Do Not Track setting: if your browser sends it, no analytics data is collected from your visit at all. We do not use third-party advertising or marketing pixels, and we do not sell or share this information for cross-context behavioural advertising. If we add such tools in the future, we will update this Policy and, where required, provide a cookie banner or other notice.

C. Information from Third Parties

We may receive limited business contact information from publicly available sources, trade shows, business directories, referrals, or sales-intelligence providers when researching prospective customers or suppliers.

2. How We Use Information

We use personal information for legitimate business purposes, including to:

  • Respond to quote requests, technical inquiries, and other communications
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, samples, and contracts
  • Manufacture, test, ship, and support products you order from us
  • Process payments, invoices, and accounts receivable
  • Manage supplier and vendor relationships
  • Maintain customer and prospect records, including in our ERP and CRM systems
  • Send transactional and relationship communications, including order updates and product information
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our IT systems
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and contractual obligations, including export controls and product certifications
  • Investigate, prevent, and respond to fraud, security incidents, and other unlawful activity
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose personal information only to the categories of recipients described below:

  • Service providers: IT hosting, web hosting and content delivery, email, shipping carriers, payment processors, professional advisors (legal, accounting, audit), and similar vendors who process information on our behalf under written agreements.
  • Affiliates and business partners: Where necessary to fulfill an order, support a customer, or operate our business.
  • Customers and suppliers: Limited contact information may be shared as needed to coordinate a project, shipment, or quality matter.
  • Legal and regulatory authorities: When required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.
  • In connection with a transaction: In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to customary confidentiality protections.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our Site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for the Site to function and to keep it secure. These include session identifiers and security tokens set by our hosting and content delivery providers. We do not currently use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

The Site also sets Google Analytics cookies, which measure usage rather than being strictly necessary. Turning on Do Not Track in your browser stops them being set at all.

The Site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. That sets no cookie, but your IP address is visible to Google when the fonts are fetched.

Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may cause portions of the Site not to function correctly.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide products and services, maintain business records, comply with legal and regulatory obligations (such as tax, accounting, contract, warranty, and product-traceability requirements), resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by record type and are governed by our internal records-retention practices.

6. Information Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These safeguards are appropriate to the nature of the information and the risks involved. No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage, however, is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on the U.S. state in which you reside, you may have the following rights regarding personal information we hold about you:

  • Right to know / access: Request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes for which we use it, and the categories of recipients with whom we share it.
  • Right to correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to delete: Request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing: We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If this changes, we will provide an opt-out mechanism.
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information: We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that would trigger a right to limit under applicable law.
  • Right to non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
  • Right to appeal: In states where applicable (for example, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and others), you may appeal our decision regarding your request.

These rights are provided under, and subject to the exceptions and limitations of, applicable U.S. state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act / California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA), the Utah Consumer Privacy Act (UCPA), the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act (OCPA), the Montana Consumer Data Privacy Act (MTCDPA), the Iowa Consumer Data Protection Act, and the Delaware Personal Data Privacy Act, as each may apply.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To submit a request, contact us using the information in Section 11 below. We will need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request, which generally requires you to provide information that allows us to reasonably match you to the personal information we hold. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to our verification procedures.

We will respond to verifiable requests within the timeframes required by applicable law, typically within 45 days, with the option to extend if reasonably necessary. We do not charge a fee for responding to a verifiable request unless permitted by law.

California “Shine the Light”

California residents may request, once per calendar year, information about the categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for those parties’ direct-marketing purposes during the prior calendar year. We do not currently disclose personal information to third parties for their direct-marketing purposes.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our Site and services are directed to businesses and business contacts and are not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or resources that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those third-party properties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” above and post the updated version on the Site.
