We make the material in your part
“Mixing” is the step that turns raw polymers and additives into a ready-to-mold rubber compound. Most molders source that compound externally. We mix ours, on our own line, which is why the material cost in a CRC part is lower and why a formulation change does not mean a supplier negotiation.
We also sell mixed stock to other manufacturers, including mixing to your own formulation.
